Swimming pool regulations

Access conditions:

• Access reserved for members with up-to-date membership fees and their direct descendants, over the age of 14.
• Conditional access for guests (maximum 2/day), over 14 years old and accompanied by an adult member.
• The pool is forbidden to children under 14 who are not accompanied by a family member in the capacity of an adult member, or by a monitor expressly appointed by the Club for this purpose.
• Members aged between 14 and 17 must present express written authorisation from their parents if they are not accompanied by an adult family member with full powers.
• Users and/or their legal representatives, in the case of minors, are fully responsible for any damage caused to themselves or third parties.
• Clube de Ténis do Estoril is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or any other type of valuables.
• Clube de Ténis do Estoril rejects any and all responsibility for the consequences that may arise from bad or irresponsible use of the pool, or non-compliance with the rules of use by pool users.

Characterisation:

• Public outdoor swimming pool, unattended and with restricted access;
• Leisure and entertainment pool
• Maximum depth: 1.5 metres
• Maximum capacity: 96 users
• Maximum capacity inside the pool/water: 32 users

Opening hours:

• Opening hours from 09h00 to 20h00.
• The management reserves the right to alter or restrict use and opening hours, subject to prior notification.
• The management reserves the right to close the pool, subject to prior notice.

 

Rules of Use

• These apply to all types of users, members and guests, adults and minors;
• It is compulsory to wear a swimsuit or full bikini;
• Changing clothes or swimsuits must be done in the pool changing rooms.
• Swimming in a swimsuit and/or in the nude is only permitted inside the pool;
• It is compulsory to shower in the pool showers before entering the water;
• It is forbidden to eat or use any type of glass container in the pool area. Use the upper terrace and outdoor patio for this purpose
• Private festive celebrations are not authorised in the pool area.
• The playing of music/sound audible to third parties is forbidden.
  

Recommendations:

• Do not enter the pool area with tennis equipment.
• Access to the water should be via the stairs;
• Wear swimming slippers in the area surrounding the pool and access points;- Respect the rules of good behaviour and politeness;
• Respect the instructions of Club staff;
• For the comfort of all users, we recommend restricting the use of ringtones and the volume of mobile phone conversations in the pool area to what is essential.
